09 — He pulled the U.S out of the Paris Climate Agreement.
20 Reasons to Re-Elect President Trump
Supporters of this agreement said it was meant to “combat climate change” by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
But was this really the goal? Unlikely.
The United States was committed to reducing emissions by 26–28% by 2025.
But other major emitters, like India, China, Turkey and Iran, made no such commitments.
- India said they wouldn’t comply unless they received $2.5 trillion in foreign aid.
- China, the world’s leading air polluter, was given a pass until 2030. (And after that? Well, here’s a hint from China’s President, Xi Jinping: “No one should expect China to swallow anything that undermines its interests”.)
- Turkey and Iran are not even parties to the agreement.
So, as an environmental rescue package, the Paris Agreement was a bust from the beginning. It wasn’t even designed to work as advertised.
So what was its real purpose? Simply put: Wealth distribution.
The Paris Climate Agreement was a scheme to transfer trillions of dollars from the U.S. to other countries under the guise of environmental protection.
There’s a reason why almost 200 countries signed the agreement — and it has nothing to do with the environment.
They were signing up for foreign aid, and mostly from the United States.
But there’s more. Here’s what Christiana Figueres, the U.N.’s Executive Director of the Paris Agreement said about their efforts:
“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.”
“This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.”
In other words, they also want to destroy capitalism.
President Trump saw through this charade and pulled America out, protecting American sovereignty, taxpayers and industries in the process.
The globalists pushing the scheme were not happy:
