You were with a guy who you knew was a pathological liar, and who was betraying those closest to him. How did you think this was going to turn out? Two things you may want to consider: (1) Maybe you and him are equally responsible for your pain and suffering, and (2) The fact that the feelings and well-being of the wife and kids were not mentioned once in your story suggests that maybe you’re as selfish as he is.
